- From alumni association conducts number of meetings for the development of the department and maintains all necessary records.
- The department should encourage the students to involve in swachh bharat, NSS and other activities.
- To give assignments and project works to the students.

- Literary competitions are conducted frequently on various occasions that help to unearth literary talents of the students.
- Commemoration days of prominent writers are observed so that literary taste and urge of reading is inculcated among the student community.
